[Bug 858081] [NEW] logging out of gnome-session does not work with kdm

Public bug reported:

with fresh updated oneiric using kdm and gnome-session (unity) makes
problems:

My son likes kde and as kde works better with kdm i installed kdm. With kdm,  only kde session can  be closed as expected.
I can select unity session, but after logging out, i see no more kde greeter and the empty background of my gnome session. I have to change to another system console and restart kdm. 

Kdm is the only window manager on my box, as with ligthdm installed ,
closing of kde session also ended without appearing of a new greeter.
