Sandra, i have a PPA with latest strigi (from git): ppa:hrvojes/kde4.7;
you can download the sources and recompile it yourself. Strigi 0.7.5
fails to compile against ffmpeg in the repo (suse has a patch with which
it does compile but video indexing is broken).
