3) What was expected to happen in GNOME after installing KDE applications
kolour then systemsettings is open systemsettings via System -> Preferences ->
System Settings is one may turn off the annoying notification alert.

4) What happens instead at first open it notes:
"No views found - 'System Settings'
System Settings was unable to find any views, and hence has nothing to display.

Click OK button -> Configure then it allows me to turn off the notification.
Instead it consistently crashes.

The crash is consistently and trivially reproducible but is not
apportable as the KDE Crash Reporting Assistant preempts it.
