Thanks Jonathan for triaging & providing more info.

I wasn't able to install it with /usr/bin/gstreamer-codec-install
--transient-for=83886098 "gstreamer|0.10|dragonplayer|GStreamer element
dvdspu|element-dvdspu" "gstreamer|0.10|dragonplayer|GStreamer element
rsndvdbin|element-rsndvdbin" either, same results as earlier. (But I'm
good, VLC works for me :)
