Public bug reported:

kubuntu 11.10
I;ve added a second user to the system via the kdeadmin interface.
When the user attempts to log on, they are presented with a dialog requiring an immediate password change, although this is not requested when the user is created.
The dialog entry to accept the new password is buggy. If you cancel it and try to log in again, the dialog reappears, but this time you can't type anything into it.

** Affects: kdeadmin (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
