Public bug reported:

QtCreator 2.3.x segfaults when loading existing project from welcome
screen.

Official distribution (with it's own libqt4.7.4) operates normally.

Upstream report:

Correct for locally built binaries of QtCreator.
Official binary version 2.3.0 not affected.
