[Bug 779421] [NEW] Battery status applet always shows 100%

Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: kdebase-workspace

It worked correctly in Kubuntu 10.10. After update to 11.04 it always
shows battery is full. In the same time notifications about battery
status changes are shown accordingly to power profiles settings. Also it
shows battery time remaining correctly if I click the applet icon. It
seems ACPI works fine:
