[Bug 744770] [NEW] drop down menus garbled

Binary package hint: kdebase-workspace

I am running natty and since upgrading when desktop-effects are on, all
drop down menus, including in browser windows, show bits of windows
below them or the desktop rather than their contents.

this is not the case if the effects are switched off.

This did not occur in Maverick
