Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: kdebase-workspace
knotify4 crashes on me all the time. When the debug util launched it
said I had already installed the debugging symbols, but no matter what
it always tells me I don't have enough information to submit a bug.
To try to figure out what was going on I ran knotify with --nofork so
that I could watch it. I observed a couple of things. One is that it
is constantly detecting UPnP devices that I believe are computers on
the network sharing files. I don't care about 99% of these but don't
know how to stop it from detecting them.
Below is a sample of what it is detecting. This may or MAY NOT be
related to (or the cause of) the crash. Note however that at some point
knotify4 got a "Fatal IO Error: client killed" ... but that the process
claimed to have received a stop signal, followed by exiting with exit
code 253.
