hmmm
searched for kcm-touchpad, it says transitional for kde-config-touchpad.  says kde-config-touchpad is installed but won't start from terminal.... 
any suggestions?


aptitude search touchpad
p   kcm-touchpad                           - transitional package for kde-config-touchpad     
i   kde-config-touchpad                    - touchpad configuration tool (synaptiks)          
buzzmandt at buzzmandt-Compaq-Presario-CQ60-Notebook-PC:~$ kde-config-touchpad
kde-config-touchpad: command not found
