I have just noted that if I restart X from KDM (alt+E) after logout and
only then login again, the crash of KCMInit does not happen. However it
happens again after the subsequent re-logins (if I do not restart X). So
restarting X after each logout removes the crashes completely, but this
way is very inconvenient. I do not know whether this is possible to do
automatically, there is no any similar option in the KDM configuration
module.
