[Bug 628195] [NEW] plymouthd keeps running after entering into kdm (not with gdm)

The following process is still running after having entered into kdm:

According to #plymouth on IRC, this should not be the case, and it does
not happen when using GDM instead of KDM.

On a related note, X tends to get restarted sometimes after boot, most
likely when pressing Enter for the first time (e.g. during entering the
login credentials in kdm/gdm, or having opened a Konsole and executing a
command after login).
