[Bug 667947] [NEW] Kate file list visibility problems with gnome theme (Ambience)

Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: kate

With the default gnome theme (Ambience) in Ubuntu 10.10 (and older), the
highlighted file is nearly unreadable. Likewise, the mouse-over pop-up
of an inactive file is unreadable. Switching to the Dust theme resolves
the problem.

I originally filed this as a Kate bug before determining it to be a
theme issue. Further details on this bug, including screenshots, can be
