Reproduce:

Install Ubuntu Lucid
Upgrade to Ubuntu Meerkat
Install krdc
Start krdc
start a vnc session
Result:http://imagebin.ca/view/C0_6WxMe.html <-  the colors are all screwy (yellow is blue, grey is oange, looks kinda cool in an acid junky kind of way) 
Expected: http://imagebin.ca/view/Nt3HPOx.html (same machine using vncviewer) <- normal colors
