Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: kdebase-workspace

After upgrading to Kubuntu Lucid I tried to use the touchpad

the device is listed as "AlpsPS/2 ALPS DualPoint TouchPad" in
/sys/devices/platform/i8042/serio1/input/input6/name.
