Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: kdebase-workspace

When i configure my touchpad (on my HP Pavilion) with systemsettings it just doesn't work, but when I start gsynaptics and change some random settings and apply them, the touchpad works. Everytime I restart my computer the touchpad doesn't work and I have to start gsynaptics.
I would love to see this bug fixed and hope my bugdescription is clear. Could you tell me which information/files/logs to include to help you fix the bug?
