My understanding is that allowing the mounting fixed media (e-sata
counts as "fixed" even though it technically is removable) without
superuser privileges creates a security hole. Thus, you must enter your
password in Dolphin in order to do so. If you really don't want to have
to enter your password, you could use probably use policykit to achieve
the desired effect. Something like

polkit-auth --grant org.freedesktop.hal.storage.mount-fixed --user your-
username
