[Bug 550631] Re: kubuntu-desktop package still include hal in dependecy list

It depends on used desktop enviroment. GNOME developers replaced
obsolete HAL deamon with newer alternatives (udisks,upower). It looks
like,  that this is at this time not possible in KDE enviroment. I have
somewhere read there are some things in HAL, that are not easy to
replace.
