Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: amarok

I am using Amarok 2.3.0 on Ubuntu 9.10 x86_64. After an upgrade from
2.2.x version I noticed that some files got "chewed" when being played,
i.e. not the whole track gets played, it suddenly goes to the next track
in the playlist.

I found that this behaviour is observed when CUE sheet is used to
determine the track lengths.

To reproduce the bug: add a directory that contains a music file (in my
case it is in FLAC format) and a CUE-sheet for that track. A bunch of
tracks gets added, everything is according to CUE contents. Then start
playing from the first one. Notice that it won't be played completely
but at some moment it'll pass to the next one, and it won't be all
played neither.

As an additional problem, after the whole playlist got played, Amarok
crashes.

I observed this issue on at least three different tracks/CUE sheets.

** Affects: amarok (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
