KDM needs to be patched in the same way that GDM was - after calling
plymouth deactivate, it should call plymouth --has-active-vt to decide
whether or not to reuse the VT.  If plymouth has no active VT, KDM
should instruct plymouth to quit immediately and then use its own vt
after
