Public bug reported:

When using the KATE editor to write MIPS assembly language, the mode is
reverted to "GNU Assembler" whenever the document is saved.

This can be reproduced by creating a file with a .s (dot s) extension
and saving it. Set the mode to MIPS assembler, then save the file. The
mode is reverted to "GNU Assembler".

This is in reference to KATE version 3.3.2 on KDE 4.3.2.
