Aren’t a lot of these dependencies unnecessary? As far as I know,
GStreamer is a multimedia framework which is not tied to GNOME. Yet,
installing it on KDE will also pull in GNOME software such as gconf,
gnome-keyring, gvfs and libsoup. Also some Ubuntu specific software like
the indicator applet. Could something please be done about the way this
package is packaged, so that my Kubuntu system isn’t ‘polluted’ with all
kinds of GNOME software?

** Affects: phonon-backends (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
