Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: kile

During autosave, the text area of the current file steals focus from
both search/replace area and konsole. This can easily lead to text
strings that should not go into the document to end up there undetected.
My thesis have been close to seeing this kind of corruption several
times when I'm using the konsole for writing a svn commit message. While
in the middle of writing something, focus suddenly jumps to the text
area and I continue to write there (overwriting if something is
selected). If something else had required my attention at any of these
times I would have continued writing the commit message where it stopped
without noticing that I had changed the document.

This bug has been fixed upstream in revision 1130621:
http://websvn.kde.org/?revision=1130621&view=revision

Since this can cause corruption in important documents (thesis, etc.) I
hope it can be considered for a SRU for Lucid once it has been fixed in
Maverick.
