And now I also am sorry for not responding for so long :)

I upgraded to 2.2.1 and happily I no longer get this particular crash.
The dynamic playlist is still a little off compared to 1.4.x, seeming to
always want to pick a narrow group of artists, even when suggestions are
turned off. But that's a separate issue.

This bug can be closed, I believe.
