Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: kpackagekit
I tend to keep my machine up and running for days at a time. I wondered
why it never warned me about new package updates and then realised that
it did but only after I restarted the machine and logged in again when
kpackagekit popped up with 100-odd updates.
