[Bug 506747] [NEW] app not reporting track info in status bar or hovering over tray icon

using the internal DBase


the OSD at the beginning of each track correctly reports track and album  name but not track length.

the status bar (bottom bar) reports "Playing:_:track by artist on album
(00:00)      6047 tracks (716:08:27)"

Hovering over tray icon shows  _:track by artist on album (00:00)  with
cover art for disk.

further issue Track lengths all reported as 00:00 in play list and
albums either 00:00 or low seconds

Expected behaviour would be the display of the actual track and disk
names and lengths in the appropriate locations

Update collection does not change matters  option to rescan collection
as in 1.4 is absent.

The collection is on the HDD and is comprised of music ripped from my
cd's mostly in Ogg format.
