[Bug 504810] [NEW] Konqueror ignores setting to open a new window for each folder

I have checked the checkbox to open each folder in a new window in the Konqueror preferences:
Konqueror menubar->Setings->Configure Konqueror...->File Management->Open folder in separate windows
(Maybe the options are named a bit differently in English; I am using de_DE, and translated the texts. The original texts are:
Konqueror menubar->Einstellungen->Konqueror einrichten...->Dateiverwaltung->Ordner in eigenen Fenstern öffnen.)

However, Konqueror seems to ignore that setting. After I click on a
folder, it is opened in the same window (web-browsing-like), but no new
window opens for that folder.
