Where I upgraded gnome-power-manager:

http://linux.bitbaro.hu/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/gnome-power-
manager_2.28.1-0ubuntu1-U100_i386.deb

Worked in my MSI Wind U100x without necessity to change BIOS.
