[Bug 468339] [NEW] Black Screen after KDM login

You have been subscribed to a public bug:

after login with kdm the splash-screen appears and it takes longer than
normal to fade out. then i hear the kde start sound and have only a
black screen. restart the X-server does not help. logfiles revealed no
error messages.

when i kill the X-server with 'pkill -9 X' and delete the file in users-
dir ./dbus/sessions/00...... it works as usual after a reboot. The same
error has already occurred in jaunty. at that point i switched to
opensuse, because i was not able to use jaunty as normal.

Now the error occurs again under karmic on but I do not want to switch
back to opensuse again.
