You need to make the scripts executable and ensure that they have an
appropriate shebang line.

Please consult the web on how to make a script executable and what an
appropriate shebang line looks like. In case you should not find
anything, I am converting this bug into a question so maybe some nice
people in the launchapd answers section can help you as well.
