Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: kpackagekit

When the system has broken dependencies (occurred after dist-upgrade on
Kubuntu Lucid alpha today), then KPackagekit warns about broken
dependencies (in notifications and when going into "Software Update" but
offers no details and no way to resolve them.

Instead KPackagekit offers to use an "advanced package manage [sic] e.g.
Synaptic or aptitude" but synaptic is not installed in Kubuntu by
default and aptitude is not really useful unless the user is familiar
with that tool (its also a command line tool and the KPackagekit does
not explain how to access it).

See attached screenshot.

** Affects: kpackagekit (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
