[Bug 627132] [NEW] kio_ftp broken

Binary package hint: kdelibs5-plugins

When entering a FTP URL in konqueror (say, "ftp://ftp.ubuntu.com"), I
get an error message stating the the host has denied access. The error
message gives "smb://ftp.ubuntu.com" (note the protocol) as additional
information. I also tried FTP links in Dolphin and Okular (in a PDF
file), and they fail as well.

This is with Ubuntu 10.04.1 LTS, using KDE 4.5.0 from kubuntu-ppa (4:4.5
.0b-0ubuntu1~lucid1~ppa1). However, I observed the same issue with the
KDE 4.4.2 packages from the main repository. This may very well be an
upstream issue.
