Hi Harald!
Thanks for replying.
What I had done was upgrade Ubuntu to 10.04 which went quite smoothly. I was
then wanting to install KDE4 with a view to installing Kmymoney4.5 because I
have a bug in kmymoney 1.0.4 whereby when I hit the accounts icon or the
institution icon the whole program closes. I i tried installing all the kde4
ubuntu files with synaptic manager but some of the dependencies did not get
installed and that is when the error occurred and I just clicked the report
error. I had a further look at the KDE4 installing process and there is a
long guide in Techbase from Sourceforge but it looks way beyond my
capabilites.
