i could reproduce what robert wall wrote.

had the netbook on suspend over night and it lost power. in the morning
i had the unmanaged network shown. moved the
/var/lib/NetworkManager/NetworkManager.state to
/var/lib/NetworkManager/NetworkManager.state-old and rebooted. after
that it worked again.
