[Bug 570710] [NEW] kontact does not terminate on application quit

I experience the following reproducible behaviour in kontact on two
different machines:

1. Start kontact
2. Read through some emails using my IMAP account.
3. Quit kontact

At this point the application should exit, but it does not. Obtaining a
backtrace from running kontact within gdb reveals that a Qt event loop
is continuing to run:
