Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: plasma-widget-networkmanagement
My ethernet connection is configured via DHCP but sometimes I need to
add an additional, manually configured subnet/IP address to the
interface (eg. if I bring home a PC to fix). Unfortunately the
Additional Addresses option is disabled with DHCP networks so I've got
to go to the shell and add an interface alias manually.
I don't know if this is a limitation of the KDE interface or NM
generally, please reassign (and maybe change severity to wish) if
necessary.
