[Bug 553921] [NEW] Amarok does not always detect folder.jpg

Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: amarok

In my music collection, all albums have their own map. In such a map, I rename the cover art to 'folder.jpg' (I think that's the general convention).
Amarok does not always detect this folder.jpg: For some albums, no cover art is shown although there is a folder.jpg available in the directory. I think it detects some folder.jpg's, as some music albums do have cover art. But of course, the source could be different (Amazon, music tag).
What could be wrong here? Is Amarok failing to discover the folder.jpg, or is this not a feature at all?
I reported this also upstream: https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=232849
