[Bug 438306] [NEW] qtdemo interface broken (painting mess)

Public bug reported:

I'm running Karmic, i386 version (last updated yesterday) on a toshiba laptop with Intel graphics.
I'm not sure if this has something to do with the Intel video driver (xserver-xorg-video-intel), which is 2.8.1-1ubuntu2.

Installed Qt4 version:  4.5.2-0ubuntu5
