Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: plasma-widget-networkmanagement
Since one of the last updates (downgrading to 0.1~svn1017841-0ubuntu2 didn'T help and I have no older package available in my package-cache) no wireless networks which are still displayed by nm-tool or gnomes nm-applet are visible in the menu of the knetworkmanager tray-icon.
Only the networks for which there is already an entry in the control-module (i.e. networks you had already connected to before) are displayed in the menu. All other wireless networks are only shown when you click "Connect To Other Network..." or "Create network connection..." (by the way - what should be the difference between this to menu entries?). But in this list there is no information about strength or security of these networks.
** Affects: plasma-widget-networkmanagement (Ubuntu)
Importance: Undecided
Status: New
