I am just trying Karmic live cd.

I notice that the desktop change OSD is activated (which is a change
from the KDE default). When I go to "systemsettings -> window behaviour
-> window behaviour" the option "Popup name on desktop switch" is not
checked although the option is definately activated. It seems to me like
kubuntu-default-settings are not read.
