As a matter of fact okular won't open chm files (at least with me it
doesnt...i could try the same files on OpenSUSE if it is of any use). It
reports an error when trying to open any .chm file, which are opened
without a problem by kchmviewer. Thinking about it I don't know where the
error came because I have dolphin configured to use kchmviewer to open
.chm files because okular lacked of printing support for such files.
Maybe the bug report was generated by apport in a time window between the
installation of karmic beta and the first upgrade. Karmic was very
unstable then with lots of crash reports popping up (some of them seemed
to be false ones because the application remained working alright) . As of
today it still does it every very now and then.
If you're in charge of addressing the beta bugs I can report a silly one
(sorry about not going through the normal channels but I've been very
busy). The FreeSpace widget is messed up. A screen capture of it is
attached.
