Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: plasma-widgets-workspace
The "Power Management" plasmoid in my panel tells me, my power adapter
is plugged in, no matter if it actually is or is not plugged in. The
command "acpi -a" does work correctly though. That's why I put "plasma-
widgets-workspace" as package, although I am not sure, if this is
correct.
My system:
kubuntu, karmic (development branch), 9.10
model: MSI VR220 YA
Version of plasma-widgets-workspace: 4:4.3.2-0ubuntu5
I'm pretty sure, the ones looking at this bug will need more
information, so I will try to provide it, if asked for. Here's the
output of "/proc/acpi/battery/BAT1/info", in case that helps:
present: yes
design capacity: 4800 mAh
last full capacity: 4774 mAh
battery technology: rechargeable
design voltage: 14800 mV
design capacity warning: 0 mAh
design capacity low: 0 mAh
