[Bug 448904] [NEW] Desktop-switching visualization sometimes remains after switching desktops

Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: kdebase-workspace

When switching virtual desktops, a window pops up in the center of the
screen showing which desktop is now current and which direction you came
from.  Sometimes, this window does not close after doing this.
Switching to another desktop fixes it.  The problem seems to be random.
