1.5 people are working on some 4000 bugs, 3 years sounds pretty good
considering this :S We are trying to improve this situation though :)

I wrote in 2007-04-07 "I've just encountered this on a brand new
install... It happened after the very first login, i.e. no extra
software installed." so I would have thought oversized wallpaper, or a
broken desktop file weren't candidates for suspicion.

However I'm grateful to Harald for his suggestions on how to debug this,
though sad that the problem has been around for almost 3 years before
anyone bothered to try to hand us useful debugging recipes.
