I can't reproduce your bug at home.Can you send us more detail ?
Were you creating or modifying a contact ?
Which field(s) of the detail tab has not retained ? all ?
Does your default resource has many contacts ?
Which type is  your default resource ? vcard file ? akonadi ? remote ? (If you don't know, it's probably a vcard file).

At least, please upload a screenshot of your new entity just before
validation (creation).
