Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: kdeutils
Ark handles regular password-protected RARs very well. But it turns out
it can't handle RARs that have the file list encrypted, too. I'm talking
about the kind of archive that in file-roller will prompt for the
password right after opening the file (before the list of contained
files shows up), not just upon extracting as is the regular case. If ark
encounters such an archive, it just stalls saying "loading archive..".
I created an archive of that sort (with file-roller, with the option
"Encrypt file list, too" checked in the password dialogue), it's
attached to the bug report.
