[Bug 370333] [NEW] Regression: Kubuntu 9.04 generates 25 wakeups/s in powertop

Public bug reported:

Running powertop on the Kubuntu 9.04 live CD shows 25 wakeups/s.  This
is a regression from my 8.04 installation (using KDE3), which shows 15
wakeups/s.  On 8.04, to make sure this comparison was fair, I added
Klipper to my session (which showed as 1 wakeup/s in 9.04) and mounted
the live cd (to reduce wakeups from HAL polling for a CD insertion).
