Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: knetworkmanager
I have wi-fi cards one internal one (wlan0), which is too slow (broadcom
4306) and an USB one, that works fine with NDISWrapper.
In knetworkmanager version Candidate: 1:0.7svn864988-0ubuntu8 Qt: 3.3.8b
KDE: 3.5.10, Ubuntu Jaunty, I want to only use WLAN1 because WLAN0 is
too slow.
knetworkmanager always defaults to wlan0 on startup. I can enable WLAN1
easily, but whenever I try to deactivate WLAN0, it always retries to
reconnect WLAN0 again as soon as I click deactivate.
It only tries to reconnect WLAN0 when WLAN1 is activated. Whenever I try
deactivating WLAN0 with WLAN1 off however, it listens.
Also it seems to always send all network traffic over WLAN0 once its
activated, (my connection slows down), and seems to totally ignore
WLAN1.
** Affects: knetworkmanager (Ubuntu)
Importance: Undecided
Status: New
