I'm running intrepid with kde4 from PPA.
Here networkmanager uses dhcp regardless of my manual IP settings. DHCP
does work but I need a static IP. I've tried both the netmask of
24.0.0.0 and the managed=true solutions but those do not work for me.
I'm getting this error in my logs:
NetworkManager: <WARN> wait_for_connection_expired(): Connection (2)
/org/freedesktop/NetworkManagerSettings/Connection/0 failed to activate
(timeout): (0) Connection was not provided by any settings service
