Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: konsole

After a semi-recent update of KDE and Konsole, Konsole is no longer
controlled by the window manager in Gnome. The app displays maximized,
can't be resized, can't be minimized, and doesn't have a title bar or
anything of the sort. I am using Compiz as well, and this has never been
an issue in the past. This was working quite fine for awhile, until
about a month ago after some updates.

I'm running Ubuntu Intrepid 64bit, and here are my KDE based packages:

[f4nt at f4nt-laptop:~/contegix/temp][]$ apt-cache policy kdebase
kdebase:
  Installed: (none)
  Candidate: 4:4.1.4-0ubuntu1~intrepid2
  Version table:
     4:4.1.4-0ubuntu1~intrepid2 0
        500 http://us.archive.ubuntu.com intrepid-updates/main Packages
     4:4.1.2-0ubuntu4 0
        500 http://us.archive.ubuntu.com intrepid/main Packages
[f4nt at f4nt-laptop:~/contegix/temp][]$ apt-cache policy konsole
konsole:
  Installed: 4:4.1.4-0ubuntu1~intrepid2
  Candidate: 4:4.1.4-0ubuntu1~intrepid2
  Version table:
 *** 4:4.1.4-0ubuntu1~intrepid2 0
        500 http://us.archive.ubuntu.com intrepid-updates/main Packages
        100 /var/lib/dpkg/status
     4:4.1.2-0ubuntu4 0
        500 http://us.archive.ubuntu.com intrepid/main Package

Any thoughts?
